February 1, 1946:
Foundation of Ballerstaedt & CO. in Kiel,
Schleswig-Holstein.
The founders were Günther Ballerstaedt, Helmut Galster, Heinz Lützenkirchen and Engelbert Rohwedder (from left to right).
October 1, 1956:
Relocation to Rastatt, Baden
in the new company premises.
1960:
Start of the POLYMAT program:
Aluminum seals
and sealing devices.
1965:
Enlargement of the office and
Production area through an extension.
1987:
Generation change in company management
Harald Ballerstaedt and André Rohwedder succeed their fathers as managing partners, the previous partners leave.
1989:
Ballerstaedt expands
Construction of a further production and warehouse hall.
1999:
Acquisition of neighboring properties with 7200 square meters, the building is being completely renovated and rebuilt.
2001:
Relocation to the new company building.
900 square meters of administration and over 2500 square meters of production and storage space are now available.
2002:
Certification according to ISO 9001 and HAACP hygiene certificate, since then regular recertification.
2003:
Large investments in state-of-the-art punching and cutting systems to expand capacity.
2006:
Management and staff are happy about
