BALLERSTAEDT donates to local associations

BALLERSTAEDT’s annual donation campaign that remembers local associations with a financial contribution has already become a tradition. This year 8 cultural, social and sports associations, all located in Rastatt, Germany were chosen. Managing Director Harald Ballerstaedt is pleased to be able to donate € 1,000 to each of the associations even in difficult economic times: “We are happy and grateful to have come through the Corona crisis relatively well so far.” It was a personal concern of the entrepreneur to include cultural associations of our city in this year’s selection. Unfortunately, the traditional personal cheque presentation at the company’s premises in Hardbergstraße 11 had to be dispensed for reasons of Corona regulations.

The association Verein Junge Flüchtlinge e.V. has been busy packing Christmas bags for refugees over the past few days. Chairwoman Ute Kretschmer-Risché was therefore very pleased with the generous donation. Ulrike Fritsch from Feuervogel e.V. thanked for the donation, saying, “We are very happy to be among the beneficiaries.” Sybille Kirchner and Sylvia Weimer-Hartmann can also put the money to good use for the pupils of the schools Augusta-Sibylla and Karlschule: “Without donations, we would not be able to realise many projects,” Sybille Kirchner directed her thanks to the company BALLERSTAEDT & CO.
